Without stable sources of food and incomes, pressures on forests shall remain, and community forestry and fisheries management regimes are unlikely to be successful.
To address these issues, Enterprise Development Programme is designed. It is one of key strategic programmes of NTFP-EP Cambodia. Its goals are to contribute to conservation and livelihood enhancement through community-based forest and fisheries related enterprise, i.e. improving incomes and livelihood local residents, especially Indigenous People, while addressing issue of forest and fish resource degradation. This is found an effective mean to promote sustainable resource management.
This programme focuses on a number of relevant aspects including the enterprise development, natural resource conservation and management, market development, capacity development and knowledge sharing, up to policy and sector development.
