Mr.Sim Bunthoeun , Country Program Manager, he joins us from a diverse background in community fisheries, fisheries advocacy, community organizing and CSO organizing, knowledge sharing and capacity building in the field of CBNRM and finally in more senior management positions, the most recent of which was as the first Country Director for GERES in Southeast Asia – a French NGO with programs in Cambodia and Myanmar and specializing in renewable energy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and sustainable forest management.
He has collectively over 33 years of experiences in community based work, participatory research, networking and advocacy. Aside from GERES, he has worked with the Learning Institute, Oxfam GB, Oxfam America, and the Fisheries Action Coalition Team (FACT). He is a trained nurse and TB specialist – worked at the Thai-Cambodia border in late 80 and early 90s; later on became a community development and fisheries organizer around the Tonle Sap / Great Lake, Mekong River and Coastal and from then has built a solid progressive work and experience in CBNRM.

Mrs. TES Thea Phy, Finance and Administration Coordinator

TheaPhy joined NTFP-EP in 2015 as Finance and Administration Coordinator. She has more than 36-year experience in field of finance and administration working with a number of state offices, government companies and NGOs. She held a variety of management positions such as working with Mith Samlanh/Friends as a Finance Coordinator and last NGO with KAPE/SDPP as a Program Admin/Finance Manager. Regarding to the education background, she graduated in Bachelor of Arts in Technical Industry including Finance-Accounting from UZBEKISTAN.  

 

 
 

b.vannarith11Mr.Nob Vannarith, CBE Coordinator

Mr. Nob VANNARITH was growth up from volunteer work with a local NGO in his hometown, Kampot province, Cambodia. He joined with NTFP-EP in mid of April 2016 as Provincial Coordinator under the Partnership for Forestry and Fisheries (PaFF) based in Kratie province. He has more than 10 years’ experience, including management level and in the field of community fishery, community forestry, community enterprise, community based ecotourism development. VANNARITH received his bachelor degree of Business Management majoring in Human Resource Management from University of Management and Economics and a Master of Development Management (MDM) from Norton University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

 


 
Component Lead

Mr. SET Sambath, Communication and IT OfficerSambath

Mr. Set Sambath began working with NTFP-EP in February of 2022. Over ten years of working with various NGOs in Cambodia have given him extensive knowledge in IT and communication. His experiences include working with indigenous people, water operators, and informal workers. He also oversees the program at STAR Kampuchea Organization and trains small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in digital marketing in partnership with MISTI. He is skilled at advancing both community-based ecotourism and community-based entrepreneurship. He will significantly contribute to the project’s execution by offering instruction in digital marketing, shooting pictures, creating videos, and creating promotional materials. Sambath graduated from SETEC Institute with a bachelor’s in management information systems.
